This can take a lot of time, but in order to fight these black ants you need to identify them and their habits. After identifying ants you need to research their sleeping and eating habits. Sleeping habits means finding the nest and eating habits means to prepare for a fight and get rid of them for good, one way or the other.

Planning is the part that comes after all the info is acquired. You need to know where the ants nest is in order to surround it with poison or repellant so the ants would not step out and be forced to move, but that won’t guarantee that you will get rid of them for good. You also need to know what type of foods will attract ants in order to prepare a trap or to remove those types of foods so they would starve and be forced to move, again, not a guarantee that will get rid of them.

It is a common misconception that all ants like sweet foods, some don’t, they are rare in these parts but you may stumble into them, so you need to be sure. Once you have everything and know everything you can either try to get them out of your home or use boric acid in combination with their preferred food and wait until they are gone.

This is where patience comes into play; you need a certain percentage of boric acid in order to get rid of all the ants. If you place too much you will poison ants immediately which will cause other to stay away from that food, they are smart. If you place too little then you won’t get anywhere, but placing the right amount will cause the poison to act a few weeks later and catch the whole nest off guard, once they all ate it.
